The artists have worked together as a team for 5 years as part of a special project by our gallery.
Each of the following will have a solo show: Tsuneo Tachibana explores what photography is, Michiko Kanzawa considers the body from the view of performance, Yuko Tada who will show her new work called "Sanyushikashikahitobitonozu" was awarded the 10th anniversary Mio Photo Award in 2007, and Akira Mitamura has photographed Hiroshima for the last 10 years.
Each show has a unique theme. Please enjoy each new work by the artists as they explore the theme throughly. Every Friday night we will have a live event featuring each artist. Please join us.

Artist Statements
I crossed one bridge after another.
The ebb and flow of the river is rhythm of city.
I found a small crab on the muddy bank of the river and the trail of a sightseeing boat is visible from the bridge.
I was inspired on impulse.
The more I walk, the more I'm attracted by the bright lights and fascinating city; the more I walk, the more I understand how unaware I am.

There is always an unexpected flutter outside my camera.

Changing city, unchanging city, I want to capture it just as it is in my finder.
I feel as if I'm walking through an impossibility.
"Why photograph Hiroshima?"

Visible, invisible, shoot, don't shoot.
As I just submerged myself in taking pictures I can't clearly find the answer yet.

The theme is revealed step by step.
I record Hiroshima at the beginning ofthe 21st century with my feelings and delusions, which don't provide any answers.
