Artist Statements
My family home is a shrine, so I was brought up in a distinctly Japanese space since I was child. I am interested in "spaces" which create a sense of perspective and resonance in Japanese paintings, noh, waka and tanka poems, and temple architecture in my environment.
It is the theme in my photographic works. There is a keeping a distance between the deers and human beings on Mt. Wakakusa.
Each existence has a sense equality and love.
There is a kind of paradise which consists of deers, human beings, me, space and, time.
